This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Hi Margaret I don't know if this can help you with your celtic knot, but at least it's an answer to your question on [link]
- Draw one complete section of the pattern you'd like to create, for example: knot-rope-ball (standing for begin - middle - end of path)
- Then slice it up in segments. Once sliced up, pul every item away from the other (knot seperate, rope seperate, ball seperate).
- Then select the first segment, knot, and drag it to your swatches panel. Do the same with the other elements.
- Go back to your brush panel, and select 'new brush' (with the little drop down in the upper right corner of the brush panel) or drag the first segment to your brush panel. Select "pattern brush".
- As you can see, the swatches you just created are available. The first box represents the start of you're path, the 4th middle of you're path, and the last box is your end of path.
Hope this helps Love your 'dead' illustriation Greetz from Niels Voogt
PS: My gallery isn't up to date, last update was 3 years ago, I'm not very active on deviantart srry
Thanks for the advice![link] My gallery isn't very complete either. I've got all sorts of stuff scattered across many computers and really have only recently started using devianart.
